Relationship Intelligence - Use Cases

Relationship Intelligence helps VC & PE teams leverage the collective network of the fund.

By mapping all contacts across inboxes and showing who has the strongest connection, teams can make smarter outreach decisions, strengthen relationships, and uncover opportunities that would otherwise be missed.

Key use cases

1. Warm Introductions

  • Purpose: Ensure outreach to new investors, founders, or partners comes from the teammate with the strongest relationship.

  • Example: Before approaching a potential Series A investment, check Relationship Intelligence to see if a partner already has a strong tie, and have them make the intro.

2. Fundraising & LP Relations

  • Purpose: Strengthen relationships with LPs and potential investors by using the best‑connected person for outreach.

  • Example: Before an annual meeting, identify which GP or associate has been in closest contact with each LP and have them manage pre‑meeting communication.

3. Network Expansion

  • Purpose: Identify valuable contacts your teammates know that you may not.

  • Example: A partner discovers that an associate knows the founder of a hot new startup, and can request an intro before the company’s next round.

Metrics

The product team should define success metrics for launch (e.g., adoption, engagement).

The above will also be used to measure the success of these initiatives.

Next Steps

  1. Finalize and schedule launch announcement (email + in‑app).

  2. Schedule the four post‑launch use case emails above (1 per week or bi‑weekly, or cadence TBD).

  3. Post‑launch: track adoption & gather client success stories if possible.

  4. Analyze results internally, and validate the project or adapt it if needed.
