Edda allows you to record a share split in Edda to indicate an increase or decrease in the number of shares issued by a company.
Adding a share split helps you record changes in share distribution. This is typically done to adjust the company’s share price (for example, in a 2-for-1 or reverse split), or to reflect ownership adjustments following changes in valuation or a recapitalization, or to align share distribution before a new funding round, among other cases.
